XCEL Innovation Lite™ LIMITED WARRANTY
Dedicated to the highest standards in quality, beauty, and efficiency, XCEL Innovation Lite™ ComponentOrnamental Steel Fences are manufactured from the highest grade materials by expert craftsmen. Galvanized steel components are subject to a six-stage pretreatment/wash (including zinc phosphate), followed by a glossy polyester powder top coat, which provides another layer of protection required to withstand harsh outdoor weathering effects.
XCEL as a manufacturer, warrants* to the original purchaser, and not to any other purchaser or subsequent owner, that its Innovation Lite™ Ornamental Steel Fence, galvanized with a glossy powder top coat system (as describedabove), is free from defects in material & workmanship, and while under normal or intended usage, against
corroding or blistering (discoloration & PVC Rail grommets do not apply). Normal and intended usage does not include physical damage, abrasion, or heavy salt spray exposure to the protective coating, under the following conditions from the date of original purchase:
Fence Installations Warranty:
From 0 to 1.5 miles (0 to 2.41 kilometers) from salt water coast line:
3 Years
From 1.5 to 25 miles (2.41 to 40.23 kilometers) from salt water coast line:
5 Years
From 25 miles (40.23 kilometers) and greater from salt water coast line:
11 Years
Gates 1 Year
Should the fence be improperly installed, altered from original form or damaged by installer, XCEL will not be responsible for warranted performance or appearance of the material. This warranty does not apply where failure or damage is due to improper use or application, abuse, misuse, vandalism or acts of God. XCEL reserves the right to inspect the material to determine validity of the claim.
Under this warranty, the manufacturer’s obligation is limited to the replacement of defective material or issuance of a prorated credit. The decision as to which method of redemption is allowed is solely at the discretion of XCEL Fence. If a prorated credit is chosen, the amount will be equal to the (1) original cost of materials at the date of purchase (2) multiplied by the total number of years (rounded up) remaining under warranty, (3) divided by the total number of years under the warranty period. Any labor charges for the removal and/or installation are not included and XCEL will not be held responsible for such services.
A signed copy of this form must be accompanied with a copy of your purchase receipt and physical address of installed product. You must provide a detailed written explanation for your claim, along with any supporting documents (photos, reports, etc.), in order for XCEL to process your claim. XCEL shall not be held responsible for warranted appearance or performance of the fence if it is abused or improperly installed. In addition, XCEL is not responsible for property damage, injury or other indirect, consequential or special damages arising directly out of the use of this fence, not withstanding the fact that said property damage, injury or other damages arose indirectly or directly from an alleged or actual defect in workmanship and/or material.
The above constitutes the complete warranty by the manufacturer. No other arrangement, either written or implied is valid. XCEL does not authorize any other agent or person to make any warranty claims and will not assume nor authorize any agent or person to assume any other liability in connection with Innovation Lite™ Ornamental Steel Fencing System. Some jurisdictions do not allow an exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so the above exclusions and limitations noted herein may not apply.
